Group Five - Great Days and Bonus Album
Group Five's Great Days collects, reworks and remasters tracks from his first two EPs. And if you download the full album, you get a free bonus album, containing five remixes (by Group Five, Jet Jaguar and Aquaboogie), and five original tracks. All this for NZ$10!
Most of the bonus tracks are from the same period as Great Days (ooo, rarities?), and may even be familiar from past Group Five gigs. Jet Jag's 'In Camera' remix was also released on the In Camera EP, and his remix of 'East India Company' appeared on the Malty Media show in July 2009. Both remixes of 'Distant Stations', and Aquaboogie's Mr Scruff-ish (and middle-finger-giving) remix of 'A Small Photograph', were all exclusively knocked out for this release.
(And if you're curious, the cover shows the artist's great-great-grandparents, Henry and Frances Stewart, with family at home in Belfast, some time in the late 19th century...)
